Who We Are
Longrunn Medical is a biotechnology company focused on natural-origin bioactive ingredients, fungal fermentation technology, and cellular nutrition science.
Our work is built on nearly two decades of research into novel microbial strains and their potential applications in metabolic health. Through CL-K1® and EFILA, we connect strain discovery, fermentation development, safety evaluation, functional studies, product formulation, and future therapeutic development.
We believe that natural medicine, when developed through modern biotechnology and scientific validation, can create meaningful new possibilities for chronic disease prevention, nutritional support, and metabolic health management.
Our Scientific Direction
Our research focuses on metabolic diseases and cellular-level intervention, especially in areas related to type 2 diabetes, insulin resistance, fatty liver, liver metabolism, oxidative stress, inflammatory balance, and cellular energy regulation.
Rather than viewing chronic disease through a single-marker lens, we study the cellular environment in which metabolism takes place. This includes how cells receive nutrients, respond to insulin, produce energy, regulate oxidative stress, and communicate with organs such as the liver, pancreas, muscle, and fat tissue.
This scientific direction is reflected in our core concept: multi-target cellular nutrition intervention.
Our team
Longrunn Medical is led by a team with deep experience in biotechnology, fungal strain research, fermentation technology, functional ingredient development, metabolic health, product commercialization, and international market development.
The technical team has spent many years studying new mycelial strains, including Ceriporia lacerata, Ceriporia lacerata-K1, Ceriporia lamaritus, and Irpex lacteus f.k. This work has contributed to published research, patents, regulatory approvals, and commercial applications.
